This is the first photo send directly from my Flickr account. The photo was taken at The Open Museum in Brede, Denmark.

An old mill

This mill - Nymølle - is dating back from 1643. It was part of the first industrial area in Denmark. And it's only a 5 minutes walk from my home.

Big Beach Stones

Another try by me to excel in the b/w photography art. This time I've experimented with the Dodge and Burn tool in Photoshop Elements 4.0.

Submission for the Nov-Dec section of the "2006 Nikonians Photographers of the Year" competition

Enclosed please find my next photo for the "2006 Nikonians Photographers of the Year" competition. I've chosen to participate in the "Architectural" section. It was the first b/w photo in this section. Another has followed.
I think the photo expresses the vast possibilities an open mind has (the ocean), as soon as you understand how to unlock the mind (the gate).

"Night in Vence" photo awarded 1st place

Digital photographing is a nice hobby. In the "old days" I owned analogue cameras from vendors like Pentax and Olympus (dreaming about a Nikon). Last summer I bought a Nikon D70s DSLR camera and started all over again. One of my photos has received an award, taking the 1st spot in a monthly photo competition at nikonians.com. The theme was "Night". I was rewarded with a nice photo editing software. The photo is now submitted to the final "Best Photo 2006".
